Copperplate introduces another title to our Classic's re-issues, this time featuring, London born and bred, now residing in County Roscommon. John Carty is a virtuoso multi-instrumentalist who founded the group At The Racket and has played with Irish music supergroup De Danann as well as Matt Molloy. Featured here mainly on fiddle and backed by his brother James on flute, he is joined by featured accompanists Lord Alec Finn, Francis Gaffney, John Blake and Brian McGrath on a wonderful album of traditional Irish music rooted in the regional styles of Western Ireland.
